Rain

Lots of the drought affected areas of Australia seem to have had some rain over the last week, unfortunately the Wudinna area in SA where my daughter and son in-law farm has at this stage missed out.
Things there will be very serious if they don’t get some decent rain very soon.
My duties here in Adelaide have eased a little as Stacey’s confidence has improved, she is once more able to contact and face friends, as would be expected the friends who are worthwhile are very supportive.
I find that I am in frequent conflict with my spelling and grammar checker, some of this is due to it’s US based English, some is due to my spelling ability, which I find is quite poor now that “big brother” is checking it, and some is because “IT” doesn’t like the way I construct some sentences.
To even up the conflict somewhat I have decided to pick out some favourite words to play around with, such as;
DEFAULT, it is de-fault of my spelling and grammar checker that I have errors.
“Mouse-potato”, the computer age equivilant of the Couch-potato.
“Skinny Dipping”, becomes Chunky Dunking for most of us.

A woman marries a man thinking he will change, and he doesn’t.
