There has been a little item circulating the internet, and quite a few blogs,
this has been accompanied by statements like, “this will never happen again”
or the “slightly more accurate” this won’t happen again for another 100 years,
but then the equation will be 02;03;04;05/06/07, (so who do you think is
right?)

Below is an example of the blog entry that has been appearing.

By the time most of you have read this post, an interesting event
will have happened. At precisely 2 minutes and 3 seconds after
1am on Wednesday, March 5, the time and date will be:

01:02:03 04/05/06

It will be the only time this will ever happen. If you were in bed –
see what you missed!

Well once more it is Australia to the rescue, as we use a far more sensible date
formula which puts the day before the month, we offer you one last chance to
experience this momentous occasion.

On Thursday the 4th of next month (May), at two minutes and three seconds
after
1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be;

01:02:03 04/05/06.

Because of the time difference between Australia and USA, (we are anything
between 9 and 12 hours ahead of you, dependant on where you live)

this will happen at a more civilized hour in your time, (confused yet?) that’s a
little after 1pm/4pm your time on May 3rd, ( now I’m prepared to lay money
you’re confused, if you’re not please explain it to me!)

If you live elsewhere in the world, I’m sorry you’re gonna have to work it out
for yourselves, I do urge you however not to miss this chance to be a part of
history.

You still have time to organize a “zero to six” party that could rival the
millennium parties of a few short years ago.

Please let me know if you would like a reminder about this when we get to
the month of May.

This joke just seemed to tie in so well I thought I'd share it with you.

ONCE A YEAR.

A man getting along in years finds that he is unable to perform sexually.

He finally goes to his doctor who tries a few things; but nothing seems
to work. So the doctor refers him to an American Indian medicine man.

The medicine man says, "I can cure this." With that said, he throws a
white powder in a flame, and there is a flash with billowing blue smoke.

Then he says, "This is powerful healing but you can only use it once a
year. All you have to do is say '123,' and it shall rise for as long as you
wish!"

The guy then asks, "What happens when it's over, and I don't want to
continue?"

The medicine man replies: "All you or your partner has to say is 1234,
and it will go down. But be warned: It will not work again for another year."

The old gent rushes home, anxious to try out his new powers and prowess.

That night he is ready to surprise his wife. He showers, shaves, and puts on his
most exotic cologne. After he gets into bed and is lying next to her, he says,
"123;" and suddenly he has the most gigantic stiffie ever, just as the medicine
man had promised.

His wife, who had been facing away from him, turns over and asks,

"What did you say '123' for ?"

Peter - Actually this (01-02-03-04/05/06) happens ever 100 years even though it says "IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN" It should say "most of us will NEVER see it again!" ~ jb///

Hey, can you believe that I was up for that event the other day!

Yeah, I saw that on someone's blog too....

If I had big $$ I'd come over there in May and join you for the festivities, but alas, I'm saving money for Thailand! WooHoo!
