For those who were unsure about our "Hot Cross Buns" also known as "Easter Buns" That's what they look like, they smell and taste delicious. But why oh why are they in our supermarkets from Dec. 28th until Easter which is in mid April.
I suppose you didn't really want to buy these. But in the interest of good blogging,,,you had to buy them to get this picture. Thanks for the sacrifice Peter. They do look good.
Hi Peter ~~ Well done with the picture. And then of course you had yo eat them!!! They are meant to be heated hence the HOT. They taste like most fruit or raisin breads, but have a nice glaze on them that's yummy

Thanks for that picture. I was wondering what "hot cross buns" looked like. Seems like I recall that phrase from a childhood game we used to play.
What amazes me is that they will stay hot for 3 1/2 months.
Could the answer be just for the purpose of temptation? You are making me hungry. ec

Wow, I've heard of hot cross buns before, but I always just thought that they were angry rolls. ;)
