Another Flowchart.

This chart is much more common than the one shown previously

Sorry I couldn't get it to load "step by step" but the finished chart should still give you an idea of the complexity of a normal flowchart.

  5. Sip ::
  6. A really slooooow drink.

  7. Block ::
  8. Sorry, you can't get past.

  9. Forehead ::
  10. The part of your face that creases up.

  11. Championship ::
  12. Roger Federer (well the Australian open finished yesterday)

  13. Hurl ::
  14. swirl, girl, curl, Merle.

  15. Whip ::
  16. Oh yeah whip me baby!

  17. Destruction ::
  18. Weapon of mass--------

  19. Leather ::
  20. the smell of a new car.

There is a "master site" that organises this task (no its not a meme I don't do them.)

Dust Buffalo's on the move

You might recall that I spent 3 months away from home recently?

Well a couple of weeks after I got home I spilled a glass of water in the kitchen... it took an hour or so before I regained enough traction in the mud to get out of there!!!
Not being one to make hasty decisions.... about a week or so later I thought I had either better clean up a bit or plant something, not wanting the bother of harvesting a huge crop of marijuana I opted for a clean up.

Now I know you have all come across "dust bunnies" (when you've been visitin' an' the like....)
Well let me introduce y'all to "dust buffalo's" at first I thought they were "dust wallabies" but they were much larger and more active than that.
After I spent a couple of hours roundin' 'em up this lot were corralled in the bathroom

Elated with my successful roundup I went in search of new frontiers to tackle, it wasn't long before they started to turn up either!!!
At my current rate of progress I'll have the Vacuum cleaner out by early September to give the carpeted areas a good goin' over too.

So as this message I unearthed says.... Its time for you to move over Pamela and let the buffalo rancher through.

A view of Hamersley Gorge WA.

Explanation !!!!
!Some readers have suggested that
(a) I was kind to soften the image of the 3 girls swimming in the buff in the previous post.
(b) That my photographic skills were less than they should have been.

I took the photo from the top of the cliff shown here, a distance of well over 300 feet to the subjects swimming below, and taking into account the natural tremble of my hands at my good fortune and the use of maximum zoom power, I think the resultant photo was very good indeed.

As to the inference that I encouraged the lorikeets (birds) with food, Phswaah (raspberry) these birds are so dumb they clamber all over whoever is silly enough to come into the open.

Jack, all I can say about you coming downhill on that alpine road is... you had better have your ski's on... cos you're gonna be goin' downhill really quickly.

BTW, have a look at the Ugg boot site on my Message Board.

The week after Christmas

Oh woe is me I seem to have lost my Guest Book which had been signed 94 times the last
time I can remember checking... I was looking forward to the number reaching 100....
The code is still on my template so who knows, one day it might come back??

Yah, its back and it now has 101 signatures Thank you 101 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What you see isn't always what you get.

While this was
obviously written
by/for a woman the
concept fits a man

just as well, so whether

you are male or female if you are one of the many who overate this festive season...
here's your poem!!

‘Twas the week after Christmas.

‘Twas the week after Christmas and all through the house
Nothing would fit me, not even a blouse.
The cookies I’d nibble, the eggnog I’d taste
All the holiday parties had gone to my waist.

When I got on the scales, there arose such a number!
When I walked to the store (less a walk more a lumber.)
I’d remember the marvelous meals I’d prepared;
The gravies and sauces and beef nicely rared…

The wine and the rum balls, the bread and the cheese
And the way that I’d never said, “No, thank you, please.”
As I dressed myself in my husband’s old shirt
And prepared once again to battle the dirt…

I said to myself, as only I can,
“You can’t spend the winter dressed like a man!”
So away with the last of the sour cream dip,
Get rid of the fruit cake, every cracker and chip.

Every last bit of food that I like must be banished
‘Till all the additional ounces have vanished.
I won’t have a cookie, not even a lick,
I’ll want only to chew on a long celery stick.

I won’t have hot biscuits, or cornbread, or pie,
I’ll munch on a carrot and quietly cry.
I’m hungry, I’m lonesome, and life is a bore…
But isn’t that what January is for?

Unable to giggle,
No longer a riot
Happy new years to all
And to all a good diet.

New Years Day Reflections.

Hey could there be some truth in the rumor that I’m gettin’ old?

Well I did have two Grand-daughters get married this year.

Well my oldest “child” turned 50 this year.

Well I did have eye surgery to remove a pteryguim (growth) from my left eye.

On the plus side, I still managed to drive across the country for

the two Weddings, which were only a week apart and only one

state apart (Two VERY big States though).

I managed to fly across the country for Alan’s birthday.

Despite my worst fears, I can still see out of my left eye, no better than it was but no worse either.

I managed to grab a two week vacation with Wazza, a great “tourist” trip to Sydney.

Twice during the year my 1st wife Jacqui our four kids and myself were all in the same place at the
same time, the last time that happened was when Marcus and Carolyn were married.

Speaking of which, their oldest son Zachariah returned home from England after spending two years
there (Zac is 20 now).

Managed to get through the year without losing any close friends and only two cousins.

I am still driving the same Subaru wagon, approaching a record period of ownership for me.

As well as the immediate family I also managed to visit briefly with a lot of my long term friends,
my 2nd EX, and my Sister.

I have managed to retain the same athletic body that I have had for the last few years, it hasn’t
been easy, if it were not for the many fine Bakeries spread through the land I may have failed
at this.

We are still being held up at nozzle point by the Oil Companies each time we venture into their
territory, currently $1.30 per liter on average in Queensland…. much more in other States.

As well as Petrol, we are currently paying record high prices for fruit and vegetables and meat.

On the political arena, we have a change in Federal Government, the first in 11 years, and with
the retirement of the Queensland Premier we have inherited the first female Premier in the States
history, neither of these changes have been in force for long so there is very little apparent
change noticeable yet.

Although we had a brief minor flooding of the Mary River here at Gympie much of the State
is still gripped by drought and indeed the water storage Dams are still at all time lows.

We are experiencing quite a cool start to the New Year with cloud and rainy weather instead
of hot and humid like normal, the seasons are changing with the earths warming and severe
weather changes are becoming more the norm.

The Bird Feeder

We all have our own problems, some are worse (or better) than others.

Please click to enbiggen this image.

Having already mentioned that we all have problems.... some "fws" deserve to be
kept alive, the following is one of those.

TAKE DOWN the FEEDER!

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled
it with seed. What a beauty of a bird feeder it is, as I filled it
lovingly with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds
taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and
easily accessible food.

But then the birds started building nests in the boards
of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue.

Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile,
the chairs, the table ... everywhere!

Then some of the birds turned mean. They would
dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had
fed them out of my own pocket.

And other birds were boisterous and loud. They
sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at
all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it
when it got low on food.

After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch
anymore. So I took down the bird feeder and in three days
the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down
the many nests they had built all over the patio.

Soon, the back yard was like it used to be ... quiet, serene
and no one demanding their rights to a free meal.

Now let's see ....

Our government gives out free food, subsidized housing,
free medical care, and free education and allows anyone
born here to be an automatic citizen.

Then the illegals came by the tens of thousands. Suddenly
our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments
are housing 5 families; you have to wait 6 hours to be seen
by an emergency room doctor; your child's 2nd grade class is
behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak
English.

Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to
'press one' to hear my bank talk to me in English, and
people waving flags other than our national flag are
squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding
more rights and free liberties.

Just my opinion, but maybe it's time for the government
to take down the bird feeder.

If you agree, pass it on;

if not, continue cleaning up the poop!
