too young and romantic!!! However
it was good for the fact of my
four kids. I hope he rests in peace. It must have been a Model A

I am curious and haven't got a clue about Al and Bugs so how about a Valentine explanation.
Hi Maria, on valentines day in 1929 the Valentines Day massacre happened in Chicago, Al Capone sent a deputation to a rival hoodulum Bugs Moran's head quarters with sub-machine guns, they shot and killed seven of Moran's men.
That's how the story has been put together anyway Capone never admitted involvement, but it's a pretty safe bet he was guilty.
If my memory serves me right the other line "To allthose who are in love, and all those who can remember" was the intro for the loooong running "Days of our lives." on TV.

It just goes to show how little I paid attention to the gangster stories of my youth. However, it is a little embarassing because when I was a teen-ager on a trip to Chicago, someone pointed out the warehouse where the massacre took place. I guess with Catholic girl manners of that time, I thought of these hoodlums as Mr. Moran and Mr. Capone. :-)
