Bloggers Rouges Gallery

This cartoon had nothing to do with anything, I just thought it
was
funny and it does deal with a couple of my favourite things.

To all that have been nice enough to ask about my eye after the
operation, I went back to the surgeon this morning for a check up and
he gave me a very good report.
He is very pleased with the way it has healed and if he's happy I'm
happy, my only complaint has been that it has been very weepy, lo and
behold this has been because it is dry and trying to compensate so he
told me to get some "Natural Tears" and keep the eye irrigated with
them, I thought I had been crying enough... wrong again.

Duck decoy with a difference.

Once again this hasn't got much to do with this post but it's funny,
what I want to talk about tonight is bloggers photos, some of you are
pretty canny about publishing your photos.
I have managed to compile a fairly comprehensive gallery of the folk
who on my blogroll, some of you may prefer to send me a photo which
meets with your approval for publication (thanks Pamela for yours) the
alternative will be the ones I already have.
To illustrate why I am offering the chance to supply a better suited
photo, some of the ones I have depict Pole Dancing, Bedroom scenes
group shots with people you may not want to be associated etc. the
choice is yours... these are scheduled to make an appearance after
Easter... I will receive replacements from those interested in salvaging
some pride until Wednesday April 11th.
I don't want anyone to feel they are being threatened in any way, just
because you are, but some nice pics will be appreciated.

Glad your eye is healing. I've reconciled myself to seeing fuzzy most of the time, at least close up, as I can't get used to wearing reading glasses.

When I do put on my glasses though, it's like watching high definition television for the first time. I can see every blemish, every fine wrinkle, every grey hair on me in the mirror. Not necessarily a good thing.

I'm so glad that you checked out okay with the eye doc! ;) (and I'm sorry I'm getting here so late to offer my hopes for a speedy recovery! I'm always, always behind)

I wish I had a pole dancing picture to send you. That would ROCK. :D

I'm glad your eye is healing up nicely...and thank goodness it hasn't stopped you from blogging.

I want to thank you very much for being such a faithful friend and stopping by to visit me when other's have abandoned me. But what can I say...I've not been feeling well and I don't always get around to reading other blogs myself.

Loved the decoy cartoon too.

Take care.

Great cartoons!! Glad you got a good report on the weepy eye!

Pictures??? So does this mean you will post our regular pictures of us in unseemingly ways if we don't send you a good picture??? Or if we send you a good picture you will still post it in an unseemingly way???

Glad you're recovering. Weepy eye isn't fun, but probably necessary part of the healing process.

I'm glad you are getting along fine too with the eye. Are you still having to wear that patch?

Now I know why my old neighbor was a shoe salesman.

If you use the picture on this comment that is fine with me. It is almost as old as I am, about six years younger. Thanks.

Glad to hear good news about your eye!

How would we know if we need to replace a photo, if we don't know what photos you have? Here’s my favorite.

Oi, that's blackmail...thanks for the warning email, though. I'm not sure how to send it with this comment, so I'll email it to you.

Glad your eye is still working!

Cheers

I'm a little worried (not) what photo you may pick of me. If need be I can send you a photo, but it may not be suitable for General Exhibition.
Mind you the photo you pick may be used in evidence against you in a court of laughter. Damn, now I am worried??

Some of us just hate our pictures. The never capture my inner hotness, I just look old, or like my sister, or both.
