World Travel

Would you be afraid to drive across this bridge . .

The Millau viaduct is part of the new E11 expressway connecting
Paris and Barcelona and features the highest bridge piers ever
constructed.
The tallest is 240 meters (787 feet) high and the
overall height
will be an impressive 336 meters (1102 feet), making this the
highest bridge in the world.

As funny as this is it's still a handy tool to find directions...just try somewhere you may want to go, or maybe where you've been before?

Subject: How to get to Paris from New York!

Now pay attention! This could come in handy one day!

Follow these steps (in order of course)

1.Go to www.google.com

2. Click on More

3.Click on maps

4.Click on get directions

5.Go from "
New York" to "Paris, France"

6.Scroll down in the directions to number 24

7.Laugh

I have seen the picture of the Millau Viaduct before and it is something else. A magnicifent piece of engineering.
I used google maps to find my house a couple of weeks ago and then ran outside to wave at myself :)

Have a nice day

It works from New York to London too and from Paris to New York (#20).

I must have too much time on my hands.

That's an amazingly impressive bridge...I'd rather drive across it than swim across the Atlantic Ocean! ;)

Hi Peter ~~ Thanks for taking off the W V as it may be easier for commenters. The new system is different,I am used to putting e-mails where I want them. This one sees you and Granny in Trash and most of the others in all mail. I tried for a notifier, but no luck, but go to bookmark page. See how it goes.
That bridge looks scary !!
Take care, Love, Merle.

I am not usually scared of heights, but that one would terrify me, I am sure!
