More wars for Wudinna's walking wounded

Some of you may have read Vicki’s comment on the previous post wherein she wondered how many lives Rex has left…. Yep he’s been at it again!!!

Hi Dad
Just a quick update - Rex got a "perfect patient" report from cancer doc today, still checkups for 5yrs but all looking good.
Wanted to say THANKYOU to you and all your wonderful blogging family for their amazing love and support over the past months. His thumb and wrist are healing incredibly well. Don't know how many lives he has left though!
Take care Dad, Love Vicki xox

This time he attacked his left thumb/hand/wrist with an electric power saw, if you are squeamish about what you want to see in photographs skip quickly to the second photo which shows the hand after the surgeon had finished repairs to it .

The news from the cancer doc is certainly most welcome too, Vicki’s health is also very good at present so everything in the garden is rosy.

For those who have asked, yes I have my i30 back all beautifully repaired and going as well as it did when brand new so that also is great news.

The wound after being cleaned up..... looks nasty!!!!!

The local doctor at Wudinna did the very neat sewing job, not too bad for a country doctor!!!

Oh my!!!! Hitonious to the max!!!!!!
Thank God for dood doctors with strong stomachs to handle all the messes and scrapes we get ourselves in.
I am so glad to hear that Rex and Vicki are doing well... health wise... we cannot make excuses for accidents with saws.
:-) I am so thankful to know that life is rosy and a good outlook is ahead. It was a very hard time you all went through, and you deserve a nice, long break from any more health woes.
Tell Rex to wear safety helmets and goggles and gloves at all times just in case his number of lives has run out.
:-)

Rex needs a guardian angel! So glad he wasn't more seriously hurt and glad to know that the two of them are doing well.

All I can say, if you're going to do something, do it properly. Glad to see Rex lives up to that maxim.

Great news about the specialist report too. So everyone breathes a little easier now...

That was a lovely letter from Vicki, too.
