Because it’s Mothers Day tomorrow I thought I would run
this little piece on the blog.
To all the Mothers out there in blogland I hope you have a
wonderful day, enjoy these sentiments.
A womans sentiments.
When I was little, I used to believe in the concept of one best
friend and then I started to become a woman.
And then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up,
God would show you the best in many friends.
One friend is needed when you're going through things with
your man.
Another friend is needed when you're going through things
with your Mom.
Another when you want to shop, share, heal, hurt, joke, or
just be.
One friend will say, "Let's cry together,"
another, "Let's fight together,"
another, "Let's walk away together."
One friend will meet your spiritual need,
another your shoe fetish,
another your love for movies,
another will be with you in your season of confusion,
another will be your clarifier,
another the wind beneath your wings.
But whatever their assignment in your life,
on whatever the occasion,
on whatever the day,
or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes
on and hair pulled back,
or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself
those are your best friends.
It may all be wrapped up in one woman,
but for many, it's wrapped up in several...
one from 7th grade,
one from high school,
several from the college years,
a couple from old jobs,
on some days your mother,
on some days your neighbor,
on others, your sisters,
and on some days, your daughters.
So whether they've been your friend for 20 minutes or 20
years,
AND ONLY IF YOU'D LIKE TO,
pass this on to the women
to make a difference.
completly different."
Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our own little worlds
that we lose sight of the so called “big picture” this will give
you a reality check, unless you live in
per litre in Australian Dollars, so they may not look like
the pump figure you are seeing but relatively speaking
that’s what we are paying

Hi Peter ~~ I recognise this and put it in storage. But you beat me. Thanks Jan. It is very nice though.
I hope they have Tip-Top bread over in
other places. Cheers, Merle.
Love the mothers day post, marcus & co are coming for lunch tommorow, it's a bit far for the others.
Those fuel prices are scary, and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight.
I love the watermark on your blog, was it difficult, I don't want it on my site but would love to use the technique in my scrapping.
However cold it gets, it is worth it to see the glorious colours.
That's a wonderful sentiment. We dads don't take everything to heart like mothers do. Guess that's why they say, "Nobody loves you like your mum."
Peter, I am playing $2.89 per gallon, in US dollars, and I don't know how that compares to you.
Peter, I thought you said you put an answer in your comments - but I don't see it. Am I looking in the wrong place?
It's 2 a.m., so I guess I can say, "Happy Mother's Day" to myself. I better get to bed, or I will be too tired to enjoy MY day tomorrow. :)
Maybe these high gas prices will push us (USA and AUS) to develop alternative fuels and seriously look to wean ourselves away from gasoline. But, as the graph shows, we are paying a lot lower than Europe is.
Happy Mothers Day Peter, to all the Mothers in your life.
