Be Nice! Let the games begin.

Jamie Dawn is not Hitonious, that was a mistake!!!

Let me preface this with a statement;
“I hate memes” so this is definitely not a meme,
let’s call it a fun game, it started life as an email,
as do lots of these things, I would like to
adapt it to a blogging thing.

The idea is that it circulates among friends who
have the task of describing the one who sent it
to them in one word.

My thought is to expand this to people on our
blogrolls and to make it a little easier to get a
description going, to allow up to three words.

This might take the form of say,

Hoss; “Funny as Hell” or “Really Wise” or “Hilarious”

Hoss; "Can't Count" (He want's to be "No 1 Dung Beetle")

(Your choice of whether you use 1, 2 or 3 words.)

The only proviso that came with the original was
“be nice” I’ll add to that, “be aware of libel laws.”

So in no particular order let me describe;

Stringman; “Music.”

Lois Lane; “Super Blogger.”

Jules; “Favourite troubled lady.”

Bornfool; “In wrong job”

Judy; (kenju) “Collecter”

Jerry; (lazy blogger); “Travel Agent”

Trucker Bob; “Harem Master”

Ms Vickie; “A Fighter”

Latigo Flint; “Hysterical Imagination”

Marcus; (holtpress) "42 nearly 15"

Carolyn; (The ginger quill) "Great Singer"

Cliff Morrow; "Wise"

Meow; "Cute Aussie"

Big Dave; "No Handyman"

Theresa; (thismomblogs) "Everybody’s Mom"

Mike; (itoccuredtome) "Funny Man"

Miss Cellania; "Busy, Busy, Busy"

Follow That Star; "Rocky Mountains"

Ivy; "Funny Lady"

Monty; (thedailybitch) "Funny Heroic"

Maria; (silverfox) "Loyal Friend"

Jamie Dawn; "Definitley Not Hitonious"

Merle;
(heronsnest) "The Good Sister"

There are many more, but I don’t want to write a
book, if this takes off I’ll do more.

Some of you will not recognize some names,
go and meet them,
make this the best part of the game,
there is no limit on how many times someone can be
named by the way.

Put up a list on your blog so we can all see it.

(You know, just like a meme!)

Hi Peter ~~ Thanks for comment. This looks like a good idea, thanks for the
good sister bit. I'll go for "clever
brother". Still finding it very hard to read. Take care, Merle.

Hi again ~~ That is a hell of a lot clearer and now I will probably try to
make a list. Thanks for that, Merle.

Wise?? Stay right here, I'm going to go get my wife to read this. She hasn't had a good laugh today.

I am NOT on the list..Pfffffffffft

I came over here becuase you have been on an age topic for awhile and I came across a funny I thought you would like.

A dedicated Teamsters union worker was attending a convention in Las
Vegas and decided to check out the local brothels.

When he got to the first one, he asked the Madam, "Is this a union house?"

"No," she replied, "I'm sorry it isn't."

"Well, if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?"

"The house gets $80 and the girls get $20," she answered.

Offended at such unfair dealings, the union man stomped off down the
street in search of a more equitable, hopefully unionized shop. His search continued until finally he reached a brothel where the Madam responded, "Why yes sir, this is a union house.

We observe all union rules."

The man asked, "And if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?" "The girls get $80 and the house gets $20."

"That's more like it!" the union man said.

He handed the Madam $100, looked around the room, and pointed to a
stunningly attractive blonde.

"I'd like her," he said.

"I'm sure you would, sir," said the Madam. Then she gestured to a
92-year old woman in the
corner, "but Ethel here has 67 years seniority and according to union rules, she's next."

Peter ~ Funny stuff here! I'm only my OWN Travel Agent though. As for JD ~ (Hitonius?) I'll have to get out the AUSSIE dictionary. FUNNY stuff buddy! ~ jb///

I am NOT hitonious!!! Hitonious is worse than hideous and horrendous combined.

New revised version:

Jamie Dawn: Charming, Funny, Divine

Okay... that's better. :)

Nice work, Peter. But I was thinking more along the lines of:

Hoss: No. 1 Dung Beetle.

A most humble retraction is herby offered to Jamie Dawn, this arose out of a mis-understanding of the word Hitonious, which I believed to be defined by "Hillarious and Riotous" 'K Jamie?

BTW I was only joking when I did the pfffffffffft thing...

I forgot to put lol after pfffft....

You are not mean. Hugsssssss

Loyal Friend! Hey isn't that what they say about Collies like good old Lassie?

Now to be less flippant, I must admit to a feeling of comraderie and warm fuzzies to think you used those two words to describe me. Thank you, I am honored.

Hi Peter,
Rex is the one who really wants to go to the JD plant, they used to have this thing ??, where if you ordered a machine, you could be chosen to have the golden key to drive it off the assembly line, it happened on the day we were there. But unfortunately they have stopped doing it now.
Love the idea of the list, will think about it over the weekend at Windy.

Peter--You always have such neat things here and I must say this was another one. I really liked this

played a big part in making my day special yesterday.

Interesting idea there, Peter. Sounds like the perfect thing to use the next time I find myself at a loss for posting material.

Here's one in your honor: "Thunder Down Under"- meaning you leave a wake of thunderous laughs in your wake.

...Thank you (in blog person)for the recent influx of visitors to my place - especially for the "Reaver Jordan" and "The River's Edge" posts.

You are too kind.
