Not happy, we were robbed, the ref was wrong ... why were they so ignorant with stuff that happened. They made a few wrong calls ... what are they, blind, or do they have blinkers against the Aussies. Oh well, that's that then. Hope you had some sleep eventually. We've been out all day, I want to go to sleep, now ... yawn !! Take care, Meow
Hi Peter ~~ Glad you liked the "Later than you Think" post. We seem to have got a raw deal from the refs. Even when we played Japan, the ref apologised for missing the attack on our goalie, that gave Japan their only goal. I think Hoss may have it right. Sad way to end, but they really done us proud. Take care, Merle. At least no more all nights TV sessions.
It was sad to see the Soceroos campaign come to such an end with that awful decision, but as they say the umpire's decision is final. They sure did us proud while they were there.

Well, the Europeans are certainly not going to let any outlanders score, you know. Poor Brazil.
I saw the highlights and I have to say it didn't look like a penalty to me. Tough luck for the socceroos.

I became interested in soccer just before the world cup. What a way to get interdouced to it. I love the game.
