Two weddings... no funeral I hope.

Have you ever had one of those dream days from the mail man,
I got these three pieces of mail today, now that's a dream days
mail. (all photos will enlarge if you click on them)

The first one I opened was this lovely laminated calender which
features my two Great Grandsons and their parents, this will
take pride of place in my office.

Next one was from my Daughter (Grandma to the two boys above)
with news of their plans for Rex's 50th birthday, sadly I'm not going
to make this one.

The third one was the invitation to my granddaughters
wedding in Perth WA. Jenna is my oldest Son Alan's
daughter.
This wedding is part of the reason for missing Rex's 50th
as it happens a month after the birthday.

The other part is the wedding in SA of Vicki & Rex's daughter Stacey,
this one is on March 3rd, a week before the Perth wedding.
Some of you may recall that this was the one that was proposed to be
an Engagement Party,
but it now comes out it was always going to be
a "Surprise Wedding"
once everyone got there, the weird ideas of the
young? or am I just
getting too old?

So my itinerary for the month of March and early April is for two
weddings and about 12,000 kms of travel and of course visits with
lots of family and friends spread over 3 States.

That WAS a good mail day Peter. I love the calendar, and Rex's birthday invitation is great. Sorry you can't make it to that one; but it looks like you've got a couple of weddings to look forward to.

What a lovely thought the calendar is! Two weddings, eh? Just be thankful you're not Hugh Grant - he had four to go to plus a funeral (but we won't mention that). You're going to be clocking up the kms or are you going to fly?

A fancy dress party? Does that include men too? I'd be kinda worried about that one myself. Traveling sounds good to me though.
