We've made it to Adelaide.

We ran into some wet weather on the trip down to Adelaide.

Don't forget to click on photos to enbiggen them.

Water lying along the road side

This is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, they do graze some sheep here but its pretty poor country and at the moment pretty wet too.

Next we came across some hilly country which got Wazza pretty excited.

As he explained it to me.... he saw it more like this which evoked some mammary's... oops memories.

He just wouldn't shut up about them so I tried gagging him........

That didn't work very well so the next move was into the tray of the utility!!!!!
(If you look closely you will see that Wazza is speaking digitally to me!!!)

For some unknown reason this seemed to upset him and when I untied him.......

Vicki had planted some new bushes and a tree in the front of the unit... she wanted a couple of garden gnomes for decoration!!!

Here you see two conscripts in place in the garden.

I must bow to superior gnomesmanship however... who could compete with this???

The note about Rex in the banner is the best part of this posting.

Glad you all had such a good time.

Hi Peter ~~ Glad you arrived safely
and Yes Warren makes the better gnome
Nice to see a bit of Vick smiling.
Lots of water on the paddocks and side of the road. We should be so
lucky. We have had 3 drizzly days for about 14 mm. Better than none.
I hope Rex is feeling lots better.
Love to you all. Good luck Warren on the plane going home. You may get tied to a wing. Take care, Love,
Merle.

So you're like the roaming gnomes in those Travelocity commercials. I just read a news item that the last surviving soldier of WW1, an Australian, died recently. Didn't even know you guys fought in WW1.

This is a terrific and funny post!!!!!
You and Wazza are quite a comical pair.
Wazza enjoyed those Boobie Mountains.
How funny!
Tied up and gagged, and he still managed to use his fingers to get his message across.
:-)
Those gnomes will sell well here in America. How can I order them?
:-)
FUNNY!!!!
