Trying out new Blogger features

Seems I've been away for such a long time that Blogger has changed the format for posting I am now offered lots more alternatives for things like Fonts and text size As well as text color I now can have different background colors
I can now insert a "jump break" although I must admit to being baffled as to why I would do this.

Please click on "read more"

Some of these features such as strike through are handy to have and I firmly believe in not turning your back on progress.
So I will probably use at least some of the new bits in future posts!!!
Yep, some good stuff here alright.

Oh that Blogger...adding more and more features; giving you even more possibilities of something going wrong and driving you crazy. But, I say....enjoy. If only they wouldn't keep messing me up when I leave comments. Somehow they can't always find my Google address and I have to post as anonymous....like today. Drives me nuts!

My system, TypePad, has added new things too...I'm just not secure enough to try them. ~Joy

I hate it when blogger changes things. I'm very easily confused!

The jump break is for long posts so that people who have read it already, or who are not interested in the subject, don't have to scroll way down past it to find other posts to read. It also increases your pageviews, and it's easier to find stats for how many people went to the second page to read that post. But I only use it for LONG posts or lists, because if you use it for everything and make readers click to another page to read a short post, they get annoyed.
