Sights we see.

You see some amazing thingsif you just look around you.

Take the amazing effect this picture creates, I really envy
the creative talents of some people, I could never dream
up
anything this creative.

Now this one on the other hand I could probably come up
with except for a couple of ingredients namely;
A VW Golf and a wife.

While in the Noosa area with the kids we saw a hire van
sporting the following sign,(I was too slow to get a photo)

"Want to try an Australian Kiss?

It's just like a French Kiss...

But Down Under."

Again I don't have the imagination to write it, but at least
I have the sense of humor to appreciate it, some people
don't even have that, how sad.

To complete the birthday time away, I stayed an extra day
and Warren and I went to see The Da Vinci Code.

We both enjoyed the film, I'm going to have to see it again
to really feel I have fully grasped it, niether of us had read
the book and both were of the opinion the book would
probably be pretty heavy going.

Having heard lots of comments on it, both favourable and
unfavourable, we were of the opinion that if treated as a
"movie" and not a religious experience, it was quite good,
as was Tom Hanks performance, which I've seen described
as "poorly cast for the role" I thought Tom gave his usual
very good peformance.

Hi Peter ~~ I was interested to read
your opinion of the movie. I am a big
Tom Hanks fan, but do not want to see
this one. They claim it is fiction, others think it's true. Life is confusing enough. That photo of Vicki
is a lovely one, I think it was on Holt
Press. There were some great ones.
Take care, Mere.

I'll not admit which of your jokes had me laughing Peter.
Congrats on the Birthday and the good looking family. I was a bit scared off by the ph 70 photo of yours and now you claim these good looking kids are fruit of your loins. OOOOKAAAY.
I believe you...but you don't happen to have a dna test handy.

Hi Peter,
thanks for the compliment, I'll just have to take my chances with the tourist police!!
Walter say's the sign on the truck reads "On the wrong road".

The writing on the car was funny, it seems I'm not creative when I need to be.

I haven't seen the movie yet and may not, at least until the DVD comes out since there are other movies I'd like to see first. :-)

Have a great weekend!

I have not seen the movie yet. I am not sure I will. I have not decided yet.

I saw a great sign on a cement mixer once. "Wanna really get stoned? Drink Wet Cement!"

Have a great day?

The book was indeed slow going! I found myself re-reading parts just to understand what was going on.

Thanks for your rating on the Da Vinci Code...I have never seen Tom Hanks in a movie that I didn't like. I guess I just like Tom Hanks.

The pictures you posted are funny as well as the one that got away. I, for one could not live without humor and I see you are the same.

I read The Da Vinci Code, but I have not seen the movie.
I will wait until I can buy it on Pay Per View.
