The left eye is still a bit puffy, bloodshot and tender
but I can actually see out of it so things are improving.

As I work for an ophthalmologist I have seen many people go thru pterygium surgery. It sounds like you are doing very well, just be sure and use all the eye drops as you're supposed to! Glad it went well, and I agree with the general consensus that the white hat looks best on you.
