I love a sunburnt country. A land of sweeping plains. Of ragged mountain ranges. Of droughts and flooding rains.

Some odd vehicles
There are some really odd vehicles here, not all are odd though.
This is my nephew John (Merle's Son) seen here with his Kawasaki GTR and
trailer, John is a member of the Ulysses FarRiders Club, on their far ride
weekends they ride a minimum of 1000klms (600 miles) from home base and
return over the weekend
A trike belonging to another FarRider member (Sandy aka AIP rides one
something like this.)
This bike was parked in the main street of Gympie on the weekend when I first
saw it I thought it was a Victory (as ridden by Charles and June Kellum) I was
only going by what looked like a Victory badge on the fuel tank as I don't know
a whole lot about bikes, turned out to be a Kawasaki.
Staying with the vehicle theme
a redneck rider mower
painted up in John Deere green
A redneck lottery winners
motor home
Could this be a blonde's
convertible??
Can you spot the
convertible in this
photo??
This is the speedo from
the blonde's convertible.
Some signs really get the
whole story don't they??
There should be one of
these at every race track
A redneck Harley
Another redneck
motor home.
And the artwork they
put on some cars is.....
unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peter ~ What convertible??? ~ jb///
Nope...couldn't find the car Peter.
I like the John Deere one.
I'm not at all a biker type person. I faint at the sight of tattoos and too much facial hair.
I'll take an air conditioned limo, please.
Where do you find this stuff? Hilarious!
I found the convertible easily Peter!!
Those last two pictures are wild! Shame on them!
Love the one from the racetrack!!
some I've seen before (well, not your kin)
...
but I have to say, that VW has an inventive owner...
Hi Peter ~~ Thanks for posting the photo of John. He had me standing in the middle of the street taking that one. I think we could have done without a couple of the others.
Unbelievable and unnecessary.
Will send your little gift soon.
Take care, Merle.
Hi Peter, im not into bikes so will have to be the blonde convertable.
Those are great! I loved the mower!
I am getting old for sure - when the last picture was loading, I thought it was a tree - LOL!
Hope you have a wonderful day!
Peter,
Some really neat pictures...
...now... SOME of those I could have done without!
(you should put a warning ...
"Not for the eyes of Junie Rose and other prudish types!" hahahaha!!)
Great photos!
What car?
It isn't a tree?
giggle
I think thats to much Bug for me LOL
I loved the redneck mower I bet they woudl sell to.
I have seen alot fo custom bikes in my time and its a wonder how inovative people can get.
There certainly are some great looking bikes around...and I don't refer to the town bicyles!
Lots of the biker clubs hit the mountain here on the weekends.
Convertible? Don't know about that, but the high heels are SOMETHING!
Bloody hell, that last photo's a bit...words fail me.
So that's why they called the VW bugs "beavers!"
Hi Peter, I google farriders from time to time to see what pops up. I am the founder of FarRiders. Just to point out that FarRiders has nothing to do with the Ulysses Club although some members are members of both as is John and a mate of mine. FarRides are based on 1,000klms in a 24hr period, so most rides John does is far greater than that over a weekend. Hope to see him again very soon. thanks David "Davo" Jones www.davojones.com
In England, the anatomy parts depicted on the 'Beetle Bonnet' are described as that, therefore a fantastic conception by a cunning mind and a skillful artist, much rather see this in the Tate than a pile of bricks or a sectioned sheep or heaven forfend Tracy Emin's excressences
