Contract expires 2008

I have borrowed this article, thanks Davo, which contains the CV for a soon to be
unemployed CEO of a multinational organization.

Dubya putting his heart into his work again.

RESUME: GEORGE W. BUSH The White House, USA

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:

I ran for Congress and lost. I produced a
Hollywood slasher B movie. I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas; company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock. I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money.
With my father's help (and his name) was elected Governor.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

I changed pollution laws for power and oil companies and made Texas
the most polluted state in the
Union. I replaced Los Angeles with Houston as the most smog-ridden city in America. I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas government to the tune of billions in borrowed money. I set the record for most executions by any Governor in American history.
I became President of the
United States of America after losing the
popular vote by over 500,000 votes, with the help of my father's
appointments to the Supreme Court.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT:

I attacked two countries. I spent the surplus and bankrupted the treasury. I shattered the record for biggest annual deficit in history. I set the economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period. I set the
all-time record for biggest drop in the history of the stock market.
I am the first president in decades to execute a federal prisoner. I am
the first president in
US history to enter office with a criminal record. If you want to read more click Here

Is this too much to ask?

I went to the linked site.

Some very scary stuff.

The scary thing is that I am not sure there is a Democrat who can do much better.

I'm feeling a little politically skeptical today.

It is even more of a problem that the kind of person you wrote about here is just about the only type who wants to be president of the US.

I am not surprised to see his hand on his belly. Perhaps his idiotic decisions of late have given him an upset tummy.

You pegged him perfectly.

Jack K. The only thing worse would be Cheney.

I'll hold my nose in the Dem primary and again in November 2008 but I'll pick somebody. Anybody.

regarding his oil. His company suffered ss many of the Texas oil companies did in the 80's there was an economic regional slowdown and there were many that went bust.

He did well on his basball frachise and sold it for a large profit.

The stock market: He inherited the dot.com bubble. He didn't create it.

So much of what you have here is half truths and exaggerations.

Wikpedia says "As governor, Bush successfully sponsored legislation for tort reform, increased education funding, set higher standards for schools, and reformed the criminal justice system. Under his leadership, Texas executed a record 152 prisoners.[36] Bush used a budget surplus to push through a $2 billion tax-cut plan, the largest in Texas history, which cemented Bush's credentials as a pro-business fiscal conservative"

I may not agree with many of his moves. Nor did I agree with everything done by his predecessors, - but my spiritual beliefs are that I should support and pray for my country's commander in chief. Pray that they make better decisions and choose wise counselors and right hand men/women.

In the picture I suspect his hand is on his way up to his heart and it got photo-d in mid trip.

Yes. I will stand up and speak for him.

If Hillary gets elected I'll pray for her and get mad at every tom dick and harry that calls her ugly and complains about her legs. It's just plain wrong. She shouldn't be judged by her looks.

She's a fine looking woman and brilliant. I'm not sure I want her for president. But I suspect she would buck up and do a fine job....
