More Deep Thoughts.

Just a quick update on my previous post, because this
brought up some unexpected issues I have added some
comments (in the comments) that might help any
interested readers to
better understand.
(sorry Maria it won't help your greek)

Gee I really had to think "hard" to find something to blog
about today.

Click to
enbiggen.

Now lets think this through rationally fellers.... and then go for it.

I don't know whether these jokes came up because of the cartoons I used
but I couldn't decide which one to use, so I've used them both.

Should I tell her?

An elderly Italian man who lived on the outskirts of Monte Casino went
to the local church for confession. When the priest slid open the panel in
the confessional, the man said,

"Father .during World War II, a beautiful woman knocked on my door
and asked me to hide her from the enemy so I hid her in my attic."

The priest replied, "That was a wonderful thing you did, my son! And you
have no need to confess that."

"It's worse than that, Father. She started to repay me with sexual
favors."

The priest said, "By doing that, you were both in great danger. However,
two people under those circumstances can be very tempted to act that
way. But if you are truly sorry for your actions, you are indeed
forgiven."

"Thank you, Father. That's a great load off my mind. But I do have one
more question."

"And what is that?" asked the priest.

"Should I tell her the war is over?"

92 years old.

An elderly man walks into a confessional.

The following conversation ensues:

Man: "I am 92 years old, have a wonderful wife of 70 years,
many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Yesterday, I
picked up two college girls, hitchhiking. We went to a motel, where I
had sex with each of them three times."

Priest: "Are you sorry for your sins?"

Man: "What sins?"

Priest: "What kind of a Catholic are you?"

Man: "I'm Jewish."

Priest: "Why are you telling me all this?"

Man: "I'm 92 years old . I'm telling everybody!!"

If you read this blog with any regularity you will know that I am fascinated by
stick figures, I was given the link below by Suzz, I thank you Suzz and would
like to share it with others..... very clever/funny.

Stiff Nipples air conditioning. I'd say that name GUARANTEES the air will be cold. :-)

Funny stuff here, as always.

I'm vacationing in CA. Next on our agenda, my dad, brother, son and I start a driving trip. I will be home and back to a normal life on Aug. 8th. I hope you are doing well there in Australia. I hope to visit there some day. :-)

That truck is wonderful.

Is enbiggen an Australian word or did you coin it?

Whatever, I'm adding it to my vocabulary.

Beware the black widow. . . she probably doesn't understand Aussie football or Greek. LOL

Someday, I will travel to Australia to watch a football game. It won't matter that I don't understand a thing. I will eat popcorn and hot dogs and drink beer. You do that at games, right?

Peter, the best was not even on your blog! Soooooo goooood was that deviantart entry. You can find a lot of interesting items on that deviantart site.
You are doing fine though.

I like your pictures, the 'war over' thing reminded me of the South in our Civil War.
The Blacks in Texas were not told that slavery was over until several years they were actually free.
They were told on a June 19th, 1965, two years after Abraham Lincoln's September, 1862, Emancipation Proclamation, Texas slaves learned they were free.
It is now an official Texas state holiday.
