A new way to look at Monday's??
I always enjoy Pamela's blog (Make pets of your dust bunnies)
and I recently visited WT and discussed fun Monday with him at
(A beagle's got my tea cake)
So having just arrived home from a two week holiday to be greeted by
the Jacaranda's all blooming I decided to show you some of the things
that surround my daily life in the glorious Spring time in Australia.
This beautiful tree is right out the front of my neighbors house, almost close enough to touch from my front verandah (Porch)
These are a bit further away, but still close enough for todays purpose
Why the hell would he put a photo of a factory in here??
Because its a Nestle factory where they make Golden Roast coffee,
on the days they are processing this.... if the breeze is just right,
my house is filled with the aroma of brewing coffee... AAAHHH.
Not todays photos but from this time of year, clouds at sunset.
And Sunset at sunset
My guardian "Three wise Frogs"
Just to make it easy for you Pamela the "Bed & Breakfast" that you mentioned
is right opposite my house.

Welcome aboard the FM roadshow (a rather ironic welcome given that you are showing your road!). Nice pictures! Love the Jacarandas.
Hey if you could get them to build a donut factory on the other side, you'd never have to eat breakfast!
I hope that Bed & Breakfast is reasonable - because you JUST SOLD ME on a visit to Australia. IN THE SPRINGTIME. Thats when I must come see the jacaranda tree. I like Coffee, too!!!
That's a beautiful tree and the smell of coffee in the morning must wake you right up.
I saw these trees in Arizona.........aren't the gorgeous?!!!!! If I were a LOT younger, I'd plant one in my yard so it's get huge!!!
Beautiful 'hood!!!

I love the purple ground...it looks like a fairy tale.
I'm on my way and can almost smell the coffee-in-the-air. Great photos. Love the purple.
I LURV Australia and can't wait to plan another trip. Just wish you guys weren't so far away. That airplane ride is a killer.
Man I would love to live in Australia. Love your photos. Say, didn't you think Australia had the best fireworks for the year 2000 celebrations?
Those purple trees need to be shipped here! BEAUTIFUL!
I can just smell that coffee. I would love to travel to down under right now, cause I hate fall/winter. Then I could live in universal summer. Ahh, that's the life. Your flowering trees are simply brilliant.
Beautiful Jacarandas. I truly wish that we had scratch'n'sniff computer monitors just for posts like yours! Thanks for sharing.
Wow - looks like a beautiful time in Australia right now!
The pic of the tree will be my favorite of your so far. That is until I see the next movie by wazza.
Marilyn would love the smell of coffee. I wouldn't.
I bet, even though you had a wonderful trip, it's great to be home, Peter.
Lovely pics...Gympie always looks so beautiful when the jacarandas are in bloom. I love them.
The jacaranda is what God must have meant when he said "tree". So gorgeous! As is your sunset. Thanks for sharing!
I love the purple trees!! Those are gorgeous.
I'd love to wake up to the smell from the Nestle factory coffee!
That is a gorgeous tree with all the blossoms. I don't know if it has a scent, but the scent of coffee any time of day would make me happy. Beautiful photos especially the sunset ones.
G'day Peter,
Thanks for leaving a message on my blog, being a learner its nice to get comments. I didn't know Merle was your sister. My sister is moving in your direction shortly. To biloela, a few hrs away anyway. She has accepted a job there. I haven't been any further Nth along the Qld coast than Noosa, so I hope to get to visit her there.
The Jacaranda's are great, but they smell strong and give me hayfever. I will stick to the pictures you took, its safer. Everything looks so green and tropical there, not like here.
It sounds like in your travels you must have passed through Merriwa, it was my Dad's home town.I only have 1 cousin left living there now. Bye Linda.
That tree is just gorgeous. And the sunsets not bad either.
That is one heckuva tree - and I love how the flowers scatter on the ground. Surreal.
Glad to know there is a SANE Aussie - don't let Willowtree represent you ALL!
I love the tree and I am glad you are home safe and that you had a lovely trip. I haven't had time to look at earlier posts, but promise I will.
A place that smells like coffee...Do you suppose there is such a place, Toto?
That tree is just beautiful and the blossom makes it look like a purple carpet. I just love sunsets so those pictures are perfect. I do like coffee but you can have too much of a good thing!
I remembered this post from before!
