Da rules are.
In the spirit of the season I would like to see your favorite Christmas tree ornament. Not to be confused with the WHOLE tree. I want you to zoom in and show me one or a few(you know I can't choose just one!) of your favorite ornaments. If you don't decorate a tree, show me your menorah or dreidel, Kinara, or Yule Log. I want to see your favorite decoration for this holiday season.
I want everyone to feel like they can play so if you don't have a digital camera there are plenty of photo's online, show me an ornament you want, if you have a camera take it to the store and take a picture of one you want... the possibility's are endless!
Here are some favourite Christmas decorations, not tree decorations
I admit but very much "Christmas" though.
This "Christmas Tree" is made of pine cones which have been glued together in
the shape of a tree, sprayed with Gold paint and then decorated.
This one needs no explanation I'm sure.
To finish up here is a lovely nativity scene.

Hi Peter
Thanks for your comment, but I'm a little unsure of what long line you mean. And what would it be called in the template? I don't like mucking around with that, I get myself into all sorts of strife, so if you can let me know that to do, I'd be most grateful.
BTW, I'm having problems sending mail. So, in reply to yours...
There will be wall to wall people wherever, so what about Forest Lake. At least there's no theatre complex there and parking won't be such a hassle.

I can't imagine having Christmas in the middle of the summer. However, I sure would like to celebrate it in Australia some time. Just to enjoy the traditions there.
I love your nativity scene ! and I wished I would live in Australia during Christmas ! Since I have celebrated Christmas several times in the South of Spain and in Egypt and could run around in a summer dress I don't like it here anymore, lol ! This year I have no choice we are invited by our son to spend Christmas in Amsterdam !
I love your pine cone tree! What a great idea. It DEFINITELY says Christmas.
Okay Peter, I have always despised homework and was able to get through high school without doing any but I will comply with your wishes here. I have two pics I hope to find and send. Merry Christmas!
Wow... what a great idea.
I'd love to borrow it for my blog Peter, so, please msg me in my blog if you would if it would be ok.
I'll try to get a pic of my favorite ornament for you (tree's not up yet as we've been moving my daughter as you know).
Thanks for your visits to my blog Peter.. you're ALWAYS welcome there! ~S~
ps, thanks for posting a link to my blog! *S*
is enbiggen a word? hmmm....
I love the nativity.
The tree is cute. I forget that Christmas is summer in Australia. Great way to make a tree!
Dreaming What Ifs...
What a novel idea for a tree. The nativity scene is lovely and I see Santa is bringing lots of presents on that sleigh!
I really like that pinecone tree...what a clever idea. I'd fun out and make one, but our big huge cedars have the tinest pine cones...it's still amazes me how little they are.

The nativity is gorgeous.
The nativity is gorgeous and I am now overcome with Catholic guilt that I did not choose one of mine as my favorite. Oh, crap!
I love the santa and his reindeer, too cute.
Very lovely nativity. That is a clever way to make a tree.
It is hard to imagine Christmas in the summer, but I would be willing to give it a try. It just snowed here and I am cold. Brrrr.
I love the nativity. And, you've lighted it so well.
They're really cool. I love the tree.
I just LOVE that Nativity. Is that at your house???
It looks big and outside?
Your Nativity is wonderful! I love it!
I think we may end up having Christmas in the summer here in Atlanta, Georgia. It's supposed to be between 75 - 80 degrees all week.
Nice nativity scene!
Those are all beautiful. My boys collected HUGE pine cones from our local park and I was wondering what to do with them all. We've already made a centerpiece for our Christmas dinner. That tree is darling and that's one of the prettiest Nativity sets I've seen.
What? You have christmas in summer? How bizarre! Why don't you have it in December?
Nice selection Holtie.
Your nativity scene is beautiful. The pine cone tree is quite festive.
Your nativity is beautiful. It was fun to visit...

Love the nativity scene.
The nativity scene is shot beautifully...but I'm really in awe of the pinecone tree. I've never seen such - really cool!
What a sweet idea. I'll have to think which of mine is my favorite.
Oh, I love the word "embiggen." I'm remembering that.
I will have to get a pic of an ornament somehow, somewhere....
Very nice decorations. The old ones are the best I have found.
