Fun Monday July 14

Penny is hosting Fun Monday this week;

http://dungareesablaze.blogspot.com/

Here’s da rules;

So for your assignment let’s hear about your favorite “Birthday”, it needn’t be your actual birthday just a "birthday" celebration. You can use one you planned, one you attended, one you crashed, just a fun time for this FUN MONDAY’S assignment, and of course you can use one of your very own Birthdays.

My “Best Birthday” story comes from 2 years ago and was my 70th…. 3 score and 10 or any other description you care to use.

It had been arranged that my favourite daughter Vicki would come to Queensland and using some frequent flyer points had booked us into a beachside unit at Noosa, Marcus’ son Zach was returning to England and as his birthday is on May 29 and mine is on May 28 we decided to include Zach in the festivities you can follow the link to read my post about this birthday.

I must say this was followed closely by this years 72 which again was spent with Vicki also this time with Rex too, and grandson Daniel and his lovely wife Jana.

Hi Peter ~~ Glad you had some lovely birthdays with your kids. I enjoyed my last one too, for various reasons.
But we didn't have fairy-bread and that is essential at all birthdays.
You could have mentioned your book
that Jacqui made for you- which I have yet to see. Sorry Vicki still has so much pain & hope she can cope.
Take care, Love, Merle.

My family surprised me with a lovely 60th. Great that they remember us at our age, isn't it?

Now I am back into the cold and rainy weather ! grrrrr !

Hi Again Peter ~~ I just re-read the original post where the scrap book was well and truly mentioned. I do hope to see it one of these days.
Cheers, Merle.

I liked the photo of the 3 Happy Holts ---what a great photo!!! Loved the smiles on all you three men. Wonderful

72!! That's grand in itself. You certainly don't LOOK even close to 50 dear man...must have lived a great lifestyle to look so young and be a septuaginarian at that!!! High 5.

I love surprise parties when I'm preparing them for someone else! Your daughter did a good job of surprising you~ it's very special when all the family can get together and it gives memories to treasure.
