Back to Wudinna.

Here is the latest on our Christmas saga, we will spend New Years Eve crossing
the Nullarbor Plain which stretches between WA and SA, this is about 1600 kms,
we are hoping that this won't be too uncomfortable for Vicki, she has made a
comfortable little nest across the back seat of the Land Cruiser... fingers crossed.

The beachfront at Esperance WA this is a very nice tourist/farming town.

We spent last night at the farm of friends of Vicki and Rex near Esperance WA
they were neighbors and close friends at Wudinna before moving to WA.
While rex and Ken caught up on the farming practices that vary between the 2
states, Vicki and Judy had a good chance to catch up on all the news.
Today we came to Esperance for some retail therapy for the girls, we will leave
from here at daylight tomorrow for the trip to Wudinna.
Wish us luck!!!!!

Dear Peter ~~ Good luck for the trip and I do hope it isn't too much for Vicki. I have never asked anyone how good the roads are over there - probably good ones I guess and hope.
Good job it isn't a week ago, you may have seen Santa. Please give my love to Vick and Rex and I sincerely hope that 2009 will bring better health for Vicki in particular. The rest of us can be content with the prosperity, and happiness to all.
Take care, Love, Merle.

Just drive safe and leave the luck for when you really need it.
1600 kms, you never do anything small do you.

I hope you have a Happy New Year

Wow, I just looked up the drive from Esperance to Wudinna on Microsoft Virtual Earth!
Esperance looks great.. right near the ocean.

I followed the highways to Wudinna and see the drive you have to make. Pretty cool when you can actually SEE what you're talking about! ~S~

It is good to know that you are able to spend this kind of time with Vicki and Rex. I am sure that you have made a very comfortable "nest" for her in the vehicle.

Drive safely. Enjoy the scenery. More importantly, enjoy the love.

And, continue to...

Serve with integrity, care about those you serve and share the love in your heart/soul.

Peter, you set a good example of that dictum.

Have a healthy, happy and prosperous new year.
